Sources
Each point in an answer carries a small number. The numbers match the Sources list under the answer. Click one to open the verified page it came from.
Down to the line
Every sentence on a verified page ends with a small lines 14–16 button. Click it to open the source document itself at those lines, numbered exactly as the checker counted them, with the cited lines highlighted.
| Where the document came from | What you can open |
|---|---|
| Google Drive, SharePoint, Notion, Jira and other connections | The text that was read, plus Open the original in that service. The service still decides who may open it. |
| An uploaded file | The text that was read, plus Download the original while it is stored. If an owner moved or removed the original after it was built, the source says so; the text shown is exactly what the page was checked against. |
| A part of a long document | That part, and the original of the whole document. |
The second check
After an answer appears, every cited point is checked again against its page. A bar under the answer shows the result:
| You see | What it means |
|---|---|
| All points confirmed | Every cited point was found in its source. |
| Not confirmed | The source does not clearly say this point. Open the source and read it before relying on the point. |
| No page cited | The answer is general guidance. Ask a narrower question to get a cited answer. |
Hidden answers
If an older answer cites a page you can no longer open (for example because your team changed), the answer is hidden. Ask again to get an answer from the pages you can see.
