Saving an answer
Owners and admins see Save as page under any answer with at least one point the answer check confirmed. Only the confirmed points are kept; points the check could not confirm are left out, and the message says how many.
Finding saved answers
When anyone asks a question worded like a saved one, a card appears above their answer linking to it. They still get a fresh answer as well.
Staying current
- Each kept point is tied to the exact version of the page it was checked against. If that page changes, the point stops showing until someone saves a fresh answer.
- A reader only sees points whose pages they may open.
- Owners can remove a saved answer from its view.
Tip
Questions never add facts to the knowledge base. Only documents do. Saved answers organise what the documents already say.
