After every build, the chat’s search is updated with the new pages. A background check also runs about once a minute and updates search whenever anything else changed: a file removed, a backup restored, a team’s access changed.
- Updates never interrupt a build. Builds that are waiting go first.
- A large update is done in short runs and carries on where it stopped.
- If an update fails, it is retried by itself, waiting a little longer each time.
The Build screen shows whether chat search is up to date.
